You Taught me

I don't know how i cope when you are not by my side, 

or how i close the door on the days that i have cried. 

In every smile i see your face, 

a loss, a person i can never replace. 

In every word i hear your voice, 

a thousand times a day i see the way you made your

choice.

In every twinkling eye i see a light which has gone

from my life, 

in every sunset it see the hatred; the strife.

 I don't know why you left me, standing here alone,

or what possessed you, to do what you have done.

The sun will keep on rising, and the seasons they'll 

still change, 

an i will keep on living, but i'll never be the same,

'cos you taught me how to live and love, and to taught

me how to cry, 

and you taught me how to miss you, more than any body else.
